Essex Playing Fields have been supporting sports and community organisations and Parish Councils for over eighty years in creation, upkeep and improvement of facilities across the county.

Our website contains information about the Association, some important documentation relating to EPFA, details about how to join us and also lists of Local Authorities who support us, as well as the results of competitions and events that we run and organise.

Who Are We?

Essex Playing Fields is an Essex charity, founded in 1924 and devoted to the creation, preservation, improvement and development of playing fields, play grounds and play areas, particularly for local children, young people and those with disabilities.

Our charitable status allows us to be completely independent and answerable to no-one but our membership.

We are a unique source of key information for people who need help and advice on preserving their precious green areas.

We offer good value for money by charging a fraction of the cost required by commercial organisations.

And finally, we are passionate about keeping hold of, and improving, our playing fields and play areas for future generations.  All we do is to that end.

In order to access this exclusive area of the site you must have paid your subscription to The Essex Playing Fields Association.  You can then Register on the site following which the administrator will approve you as a Member so that you can Login.  Members have to be logged in to access the Members Services section.

This is where Members can ask questions and get online help from the Association and fellow Members.
