Small Grants Fund

Small Grants Fund

Essex Playing Fields Association operates a Small Grants Fund for the benefit of its members.

We appreciate that many organisations need to make unbudgeted repairs or improvements to their playing field or playground facilities from time to time and simply don’t have the finances to undertake the work. Furthermore, because often the amounts involved are relatively modest, they fall beneath the radar of more well-known and well-publicised grant providers, or else the amount of paperwork required to make the application is not commensurate with the sum being applied for in the first place!

This is where we come in.

We typically make grants of anything from £200 to £1,000, and the application form - which can be downloaded from this site - should take no more than a few minutes to complete.

Our SGF Committee sits twice a year. Applications need to be received by our Secretary by 15 February or 15 August in order to be considered at the meetings held in April and September.

Please note, however, that the rules of the Fund state that to be considered for a grant, applicants must be current members of EPFA and must have been members for a minimum of twelve months.
